First Advisory Centre operationalization meeting in Bangkok, Thailand (2–4 December 2024)

2 to 4 December 2024
The meeting on the operationalization of the Advisory Centre on International Investment Dispute Resolution ("AC-OP Meeting") will be held at Siam Kempinski Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand from 2 to 4 December 2024.
The AC-OP Meeting will be an informal forum to discuss operationalization issues pertaining to the establishment of the Advisory Centre on International Investment Dispute Resolution, which will focus on: (1) ways to establish the Advisory Centre within the United Nations system; (2) criteria to determine the location of the headquarters and regional offices; and (3) classification of Members of the Advisory Centre, in alignment with the decision by the Commission at its fifty-seventh session (A/79/17, paras. 157 – 166).
