Singapore Convention Signing Ceremony

The Signing Ceremony for the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation (“Singapore Convention on Mediation”) will be held on 7 August 2019 in Singapore. Co-organized by UNCITRAL and the Singapore Ministry of Law, this globally significant event will open with formal addresses by Singapore Prime Minister Mr. Lee Hsien Loong and United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Legal Affairs 
Mr. Stephen Mathias. The Signing Ceremony will be followed by panels and break-out sessions on topics ranging from the negotiation of the Convention to the future of international dispute resolution and the rule of law.
