The Second South Pacific International Arbitration Conference will take place from 25 to 26 March 2019 in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG). UNCITRAL is co-organizing the event with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the PNG government, and other development partners.

The need for the Convention and its significance, the role of UNCITRAL, legal issues surrounding mediated settlements, and key issues debated in the Convention’s adoption will be explored.
