Durante el 52º período de sesiones de la Comisión en 2019 UNCITRAL consideró una propuesta de la Unión Europea sobre la ley aplicable a los procedimientos de insolvencia (ver A/CN.9/995). UNCITRAL pidió a la Secretaría que, en colaboración con otras organizaciones internacionales pertinentes, organizara un coloquio; con miras a presentar propuestas más concretas sobre posibles trabajos futuros en esta área, los cuales serán examinados por la Comisión en su 53º período de sesiones, en 2020.

À sa cinquante-deuxième session, en 2019, la CNUDCI a examiné une proposition de l'Union européenne sur la loi applicable dans les procédures d'insolvabilité (voir A/CN.9/995). La CNUDCI a demandé au Secrétariat d'organiser un colloque, en coopération avec d'autres organisations internationales compétentes, en vue de lui soumettre des propositions concrètes pour les futurs travaux éventuels de la CNUDCI sur ce sujet, pour examen par la Commission à sa cinquante-troisième session, en 2020.

The UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RCAP) is pleased to announce that Ms Athita Komindr, Head of UNCITRAL RCAP and Ms Jenny Hui, RCAP Legal Expert, will be speaking at the "2020 UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Day, Webinar: The Future Practice of Commercial Dispute Resolution after Extending the Application of CISG to Hong Kong" co-organized by UNCITRAL RCAP, the Department of Law, The University of Hong Kong (HKU), Hong Kong Mediation Centre (HKMC), and International Dispute Resolution & Risk Management Institute (IDRRMI). The Webinar will examine the future practice of commercial dispute resolution, the various benefits to Hong Kong and ways practitioners can prepare themselves, if the application of the CISG is extended to Hong Kong.
