Second Advisory Centre operationalization meeting in Yerevan, Armenia

The second meeting on the operationalization of the Advisory Centre on International Investment Dispute Resolution ("AC-OP Meeting") was held at Elite Plaza Business Center, Yerevan, Armenia from 6 to 8 May 2025.
The AC-OP Meeting is an informal forum to discuss operationalization issues pertaining to the establishment of the Advisory Centre on International Investment Dispute Resolution. The meeting focused on (1) ways to establish the Advisory Centre within the United Nations system; (2) criteria for determining the location of the headquarters and regional offices; (3) classification of Members of the Advisory Centre; (4) budget and financing, including the amount of contributions by Members and methods of payment; and (5) thresholds of membership and contributions for the entry into force of the Statute, in alignment with the decision by the Commission at its fifty-seventh session (A/79/17, paras. 157 – 166).
