2021 International Online Colloquium on PPP Best Practices: Securing Quality Development along the Belt and Road Initiative
Thursday, 8 April 2021 and Friday, 9 April 2021 (2:00 PM – 5:00PM Beijing Time, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM Vienna Time)
The Colloquium will provide an opportunity to discuss the framework of UNCITRAL Legislative Guide and Model Legislative Provisions on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) against the background of the Belt and Road Initiative infrastructure projects launched by the People’s Republic of China in 2014.
Co-organized by UNCITRAL and the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE), with the support of the China PPP Center (Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China), the Department of Treaties and Laws (Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China) as well as the Asian Academy of International Law, the Colloquium will be held virtually during two half-days, on 8 and 9 April 2021.
