Third Conference on International Coordination of Secured Transactions Law Reforms: Advancing Reforms Globally and in Latin America Through Enhanced Coordination

The UNCITRAL secretariat is participating in the Third Conference on International Coordination of Secured Transactions Law Reforms: Advancing Reforms Globally and in Latin America Through Enhanced Coordination, in Cartagena, Columbia on 12 and 13 February 2020. The event is co-sponsored by the International Insolvency Institute, Universidad de los Andes, Universidad Externado, and the Kolzolchyk National Law Center (NatLaw). The conference will continue discussing issues raised during the first two conferences, examining recent developments and progress in legislative reforms and explore new possibilities for coordination and cooperation among relevant organizations.

On 14 February, UNCITRAL, Unidroit, and ConfeCámaras are also co-leading a working session on the "Implementation of Secured Transactions Reforms in Latin America."
