Colloque sur la loi applicable dans les procédures d'insolvabilité

À sa cinquante-deuxième session, en 2019, la CNUDCI a examiné une proposition de l'Union européenne sur la loi applicable dans les procédures d'insolvabilité (voir A/CN.9/995). La CNUDCI a demandé au Secrétariat d'organiser un colloque, en coopération avec d'autres organisations internationales compétentes, en vue de lui soumettre des propositions concrètes pour les futurs travaux éventuels de la CNUDCI sur ce sujet, pour examen par la Commission à sa cinquante-troisième session, en 2020.

International Colloquium on Applicable Law in Insolvency Proceedings

At its fifty-second session, in 2019, UNCITRAL considered a proposal from the European Union on applicable law in insolvency proceedings (see A/CN.9/995). UNCITRAL requested the Secretariat to organize a colloquium, in cooperation with other relevant international organizations, with a view to submitting concrete proposals for UNCITRAL’s possible future work on such topic, for consideration by the Commission at its fifty-third session, in 2020.

2020 UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Day, Webinar: The Future Practice of Commercial Dispute Resolution after Extending the Application of CISG to Hong Kong

The UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (RCAP) is pleased to announce that Ms Athita Komindr, Head of UNCITRAL RCAP and Ms Jenny Hui, RCAP Legal Expert, will be speaking at the "2020 UNCITRAL Asia Pacific Day, Webinar: The Future Practice of Commercial Dispute Resolution after Extending the Application of CISG to Hong Kong" co-organized by UNCITRAL RCAP, the Department of Law, The University of Hong Kong (HKU), Hong Kong Mediation Centre (HKMC), and International Dispute Resolution & Risk Management Institute (IDRRMI). The Webinar will examine the future practice of commercial dispute resolution, the various benefits to Hong Kong and ways practitioners can prepare themselves, if the application of the CISG is extended to Hong Kong.

联合国国际贸易法委员会亚洲及太平洋区域中心（RCAP）很高兴地宣布，RCAP负责人Athita Komindr女士和RCAP法律专家Jenny Hui女士将在由RCAP、香港大学（HKU）法律学院、香港和解中心（HKMC）和国际争议解决及风险管理协会（IDRRMI）共同举办的“2020联合国国际贸易法委员会亚太日网络研讨会：商事争议解决方式在《销售公约》的适用延伸至香港后的实践”上发言。该研讨会将探讨如《销售公约》的适用延伸至香港后未來商事争议解决方式的实践、其适用对香港的效益以及从业员如何为此做好准备。 

2020年“破产模拟辩论赛”

联合国国际贸易法委员会亚太区域中心（RCAP），印度德里国立法律大学（The National Law University, Delhi）跨国商法中心，印度破产委员会（Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board, IBBI）和印度破产协会（INSOL India）高兴地宣布2020年“破产模拟辩论赛”即将举行。今年的竞赛以“公司破产决议”为主题，预计于2020年12月10日至12日举行。有关详细信息，请参阅2020IBCM附件和比赛网站。报名截止日期为2020年9月30日。
 

2020 Moot Competition on Insolvency and Bankruptcy

The UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific, the Centre for Transnational Commercial Law at The National Law University, Delhi, the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) and INSOL India are pleased to announce the 2020 Moot Competition on Insolvency and Bankruptcy. The theme for this year’s competition is “Corporate Insolvency Resolution” and it will be held virtually from 10 – 12 December 2020.

JPRI International Conference 2020

UNCITRAL is pleased to announce the JPRI International Conference 2020, co-organised with the Judicial Policy Research Institute (JPRI), the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT). Themed “International Commercial Litigation: Recent Developments and Future Challenges”, covered topics include “Modernizing and Harmonizing International Commercial Contracts”, “Secured Transactions and Insolvency”, “Enforcement of Arbitral Awards and Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation”, and more. Ms. Anna Joubin-Bret, Secretary of UNCITRAL, will be participating. The event will be publicly livestreamed on the JPRI YouTube channel.

联合国国际贸易法委员会很高兴地宣布委员会将与韩国司法政策研究院（JPRI）、海牙国际私法会议（HCCH）和国际统一私法协会（UNIDROIT）共同举办主题为“国际商事诉讼：近期发展与未来挑战”的 2020年JPRI国际会议。会议将涵盖的主题包括“国际商事合同的现代化和统一”、“担保交易和破产”、“仲裁裁决和调解所产生的和解协议之执行”等。联合国国际贸易法委员会秘书长Anna Joubin-Bret女士将出席此次会议。该会议届时将在JPRI的YouTube频道公开直播。

UNCITRAL Working Group III Virtual Pre-Intersessional Meeting

Co-organised by UNCITRAL, the Department of Justice, Hong Kong SAR, and the Asian Academy of International Law (AAIL), the UNCITRAL Working Group III Virtual Pre-Intersessional Meeting on ‘The Use of Mediation in ISDS’ aims to facilitate the sharing of information on mediation and contribute to the discussion of Working Group III as it considers the way forward on the development of mediation as an ISDS reform option. The event will be held virtually on 9 November 2020 from 09:00 – 11:35 and from 16:00 – 18:35 (GMT+8).

The European Union signs the United Nations Convention on Transparency in Treaty-based Investor-State Arbitration

The European Union signed the United Nations Convention on Transparency in Treaty-based Investor-State Arbitration (the "Mauritius Convention on Transparency") at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 2 July 2024. The signature of the Convention by the European Union opens the door to Member States of the European Union to ratify, accede to or approve the Convention. Read the full press release here.

UNCITRAL/UNIDROIT Model Law on Warehouse Receipts adopted by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law

The UNCITRAL/UNIDROIT Model Law on Warehouse Receipts was adopted by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) at its 57th session in New York. The Model Law was developed as a joint project of UNCITRAL and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT). Read the full press release here.
