2020 UNCITRAL Latin America and Caribbean Day

05 November 2020 to 15 December 2020

The UNCITRAL Secretariat is pleased to announce the initial line-up for the inaugural Latin America and Caribbean Day (LAC Day). During the UNCITRAL LAC Day, the Secretariat of UNCITRAL will co-host a series of academic events with institutions of higher learning in the Latin America and Caribbean region to both celebrate the establishment of UNCITRAL and to raise awareness of the work of UNCITRAL amongst law students, legal experts, policy-makers, and the public and private sectors, thereby furthering the work of UNCITRAL in promoting the progressive harmonization and modernization of international trade and commercial law throughout the region.

联合国国际贸易法委员会亚太区域中心（UNCITRAL RCAP）高兴地宣布中心将和位于巴基斯坦，拉合尔的国际投资与商事仲裁中心（CIICA）共同举办“CISG@40”主题下的网络研讨会。该会议是为了庆祝《联合国国际货物销售合同公约》（“《销售公约》”）成立40周年。另外，会议将开设论坛来讨论和分析在COVID-19疫情后的世界中《销售公约》的应用情况，包括巴基斯坦和该地区的其他法域是否应该采用《销售公约》的问题。有关的更多详细信息和会议注册，请参阅会议附件。

联合国国际贸易法委员亚洲及太平洋区域中心（以下简称RCAP）很高兴地公布首阶段确定举办的2020联合国国际贸易法委员会亚太日（以下简称亚太日）系列学术活动。

联合国国际贸易法委员会 (以下简称UNCITRAL) 由联合国大会依据其1966年12月17日第2205（XXI）号决议成立，为纪念这一历史性的决议，RCAP于2014年首次设立了亚太日，现已成为RCAP与亚太地区高等院校联合举办的年度旗舰活动。亚太日旨在提高法学院学生、法律专家、政策制定者以及公共与私营领域各界对UNCITRAL工作的认知，进而推动亚太地区国际贸易及商法的逐步现代化及协调。

今年，现阶段已有25所亚太地区的院校机构确定参与一年一度的亚太日庆典，以纪念UNCITRAL的成立及推进国际贸易标准与规范的认知，尤其是UNCITRAL提倡的标准与规范。《联合国国际货物销售合同公约》（CISG）作为一项为跨境货物销售建立了统一法律制度的多边公约，今年适逢其40周年，公约将成为特别焦点。2020亚太日项目详情，请见此处。

《新加坡调解公约》生效的线上活动

联合国国际贸易法委员会亚太区域中心(RCAP), 联合国国际贸易法委员会印度国家协调委员会(UNCCI)及Manav Rachna University诚邀阁下参与于2020年6月6日(星期六)举行的“跨境破产: 印度应否采纳贸易法委员会示范法”在线研讨会。联合国国际贸易法委员会亚太区域中心将由仁川作联合欢迎词，联合国国际贸易法委员会高级法律干事Kate Lannan将由维也纳加入讲解《贸易法委员会跨国界破产示范法》(示范法)及协调化的好处。另外，Dr TK Vishwanathan将讨论把示范法条文纳入印度法律的需要，Mr. Sumant Batra将为相关印度法律及示范法作出扼要分析，而 Judge Allan L Gropper 则会分享实务经验及讨论采用示范法的好处。有关研讨会详情，请参阅附上的单张。
