The international conference MGIMO UNCITRAL Days 2026, dedicated to the work of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and current developments in international trade law is being held on 25–26 May 2026 at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) in Moscow.
The conference brings together leading experts from international organizations, government, academia and arbitration practice to exchange views on key trends and challenges.
Conference program includes:
- Plenary session: Current state of international trade law
- Session 1: Dispute settlement
- Session 2: ISDS Reform
- Session 3: Electronic commerce
- Session 4: Insolvency law
- Session 5: UNCITRAL: the view of the young
Among the speakers:
Representatives of the UNCITRAL Secretariat (Ms. Anna Joubin-Bret, Ms. Samira Musayeva, Mr. Neale Bergman, Mr. Alexander Kunzelmann, Mr. Corentin Baslé, and Ms. Nikola Kovacikova), officials from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, leading arbitration practitioners (ICAC, Russian Arbitration Centre, Finnish Arbitration Association), and professors from MGIMO, HSE, Kutafin Moscow State Law University, St. Petersburg State University, Russian School of Private Law, and other institutions.
