2022 Tokyo Forum on Dispute Resolution

Co-organized by UNCITRAL, the Ministry of Justice of Japan (MOJ), and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the 2022 Tokyo Forum on Dispute Resolution, themed “Anchoring new approaches to the core principles of due process and fairness”, was held in person and virtually on Thursday, 15 December 2022 and Friday, 16 December 2022. The first session addressed the stocktaking of developments in dispute resolution in the digital economy, a central topic discussed at the colloquium held by the UNCITRAL Working Group II in spring 2022. The second session tackled the new 2022 ICSID Rules. The event was conducted in English with simultaneous Japanese translation provided.
